His practice is dedicated to protecting the rights and interests of clients by providing effective appellate representation in all appellate courts, including the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the Florida Supreme Court. Mr. Powell earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and worked for several years as a school teacher and administrator. He went on to become a merit scholar at the University of Miami School of Law, where he served on the Law Review Editorial Board, the Moot Court Board, and was an academic achievement program Dean's Fellow.
